An Overview of Bank of Kathmandu Introduction: Bank of Kathmandu Limited was established in the year 1995 and is one of the prominent banks in Nepal. The bank successfully completed its merger process with Lumbini Bank Limited and started the joint operation in 2073 B.S. The bank is one of the largest private sector commercial banks in the country in terms of capital base, number of branch locations, ATM networks and customer base. Bank of Kathmandu was awarded the coveted title of ‘Bank of The Year’ in 2010 and strives to become the best bank in Nepal. Bank of Kathmandu has formally inaugurated two branches at Galchhi and Mirchaya, its 76 th and 77 th branch, with a view to provide a complete banking service in those regions.
