An Overview of Jyoti Bikash Bank Limited Introduction: As per the latest data from Nepal Rastra Bank, at present there are 32 Development Banks in Nepal. Jyoti Bikash Bank Limited is a national level development bank engaged in commercial banking activity with category ‘kha’ licensed from Nepal Rastra Bank. The bank started with an initial paid up capital of Rs 259 million and reached a paid up of capital of 3.10 million with the latest acquisition of Hamro Bikash Bank Limited. The bank merged with Jhimruk Bikash Bank Limited (FY 2073/24) and has acquired 2 more regional level development banks in, Raptiveri Bikash Bank Limited (FY 2074/75) and Hamro Bikash Bank Limited (FY 2075/76). The Banks currently has 105 branches across the country including 1 extension counter and 51 ATMs. The bank has been at the forefront of supporting the national goal of bringing about prosperity in the lives of citizens.
