Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has indicated that the lock-down will be loose,. Addressing the nation today, he said that while fighting against the corona virus, economic activities in the country would be continued with precautionary measures.

Stating that no cure for the corona virus has been found, the Prime Minister said that economic and social activities will be adopted along with alternative prevention measures.

He said that despite the epidemic, efforts have been made to keep the economy afloat and move ahead with a number of development projects, including projects of national pride. 

He said that the supply of daily necessities would be facilitated and the chain from raw material to market would not be allowed to be disrupted to increase domestic production. The Prime Minister informed that the internal transportation and import and export of essential commodities would be facilitated.

The Prime Minister also said that arrangements would be made to run educational institutions through distance education and online education.
