Gandaki Development Bank merged with Mega Bank, paid up capital 13.13 billion

 Mega Bank Nepal has approved the proposal to acquire Gandaki Development Bank from the special general meeting.

At the special general meeting held in Kathmandu, Mega passed a resolution to merge Gandaki in equal proportions.

Speaking at the general meeting, Chief Executive Officer Anupama Khunjeli said that the bank's network would be expanded to 58 districts after the acquisition.

 After acquiring Gandaki, the paid up capital of Mega Bank will be 13.13 billion. Deposits will be Rs 125 billion and loans more than Rs 109 billion.

Similarly, there will be around 1.1 million customers, 206 branches, 30 extension counters and 142 ATMs.
