Kathmandu. Shares of NIC Asia Bank had the highest turnover of over Rs 5 billion on Tuesday. The bank, which has offered a 20 per cent dividend, had the highest turnover as it was the last day to secure the dividend. The bank has proposed to pay 1 percent cash dividend for tax purposes along with the bonus. Shares of the bank worth Rs 373.33 million were traded on Tuesday.

 NIC Asia Bank's share price rose by Rs 10 per share to close at Rs. 697 has been maintained.

Shares of eight companies rose by 29.68 points to 1,810.11 points on Tuesday. On this day, Bottlers Nepal Terai 9.99 percent, Himalayan Distillery 9.98 percent, Vishal Bazar Company 9.95 percent, Ankhukhola Hydropower 9.92 percent, Multipurpose Finance 9.87 percent, Azod Insurance 9.86 percent, Ngadi Group Power 9 percent. The share price has risen by 73 percent and NECO Insurance by 9 percent.

Shares of Solty Hotel and Saptakoshi Development Bank fell more than 3 percent in the double-digit market. Shares of Salty Hotel fell 3.20 percent and Saptakoshi Development Bank fell 3.7 percent.

Of the 12 groups that traded on Tuesday, the hotel group's index fell 1.65 percent while the rest rose. On this day, the index of business group has increased the most by 8.23 ​​percent, followed by banking by 0.11 percent, development bank by 0.61 percent, hydropower by 1.5 percent, finance by 0.71 percent, non-life insurance by 3.54 percent and manufacturing and processing by 5.5 percent.
