Kathmandu. Ram Krishna Khatiwada has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Infrastructure Development Bank. After CEO Anil Gyawali left the bank, he was given the responsibility by the Board of Directors meeting held yesterday.
Khatiwada has previously served as a member of the Electricity Regulatory Commission. Before that he was at S Capital. He also has experience working as a consultant on the Investment Board.
The government has 10 percent investment in the Infrastructure Development Bank with a paid-up capital of Rs 20 billion. The bank provides loans in the area of large deposit collection and large infrastructure.
