Nepse up 2,300 points, 16 companies shareholder earned 9 percent more profit

Kathmandu. The stock market index Nepse has risen by 28.46 points to 2315 points on Sunday. The Sensitive Index also rose 1.88 percent, or 8.17 points, to 443.42 points.

This is the highest point so far.

Of the 12 groups that came into business, all but Hydropower have increased. The hydropower group also declined by only 0.4 percent.

Shares of 208 companies worth Rs 6.37 billion were traded on Sunday. Shares of Nepal Telecom worth over Rs 581 million have been traded.

The biggest gainers are Salt Trading Corporation and the biggest losers are United Finance.

Shareholders of 16 companies have earned 9 percent more on the day the index reached new heights
