Kathmandu: NMB Bank has earned a net profit of Rs 1.61 billion in the second quarter of the current fiscal year. This is 47.69% more than last year. The bank had earned a net profit of Rs 1.09 billion in the same period last year. The bank has also increased its distributable profit by 35.21% to Rs 1.5 billion.
The bank's net interest income has increased by 4.95% and operating profit by 45.96%. Due to this, the profit seems to have increased. By mid-December, the bank has managed to increase its deposit collection by 12.76% and 20.81%. The bank's earnings per share also increased by Rs 2.19 to Rs 22.50. NMB has a net worth of Rs 160.41 per share.
