Kathmandu. Sunrise Bank Limited has launched branchless banking service in Manthali Municipality Ward No. 11, Sawadanda, Gelu and Umakunda Village Municipality-7, Bhuj of Ramechhap District. With the launch of these two branchless banking services, the number of branchless banking services of the bank has reached 68.
The bank has stated that transactions can be made through ATM card under branchless banking service even from the place where there is no branch office for savings and payment through banking service.
From this service, customers can avail services like deposit collection, amount payment, money transfer, bill payment.
The bank has started banking services with the objective of increasing banking access to the residents of the area where agriculture and remittances are the main sources of income. So far, Sunrise Bank has been providing services to more than 700,000 customers through 139 branches, 68 branchless banking services, 12 extension counters and 161 ATMs.
