Kathmandu. Everest Bank Limited has appointed Sudesh Khaling as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). According to Everest Bank sources, he has been appointed CEO for four years. He had recently become the director of Citizens.
The source said that he may have a cooling off period as he has been appointed to the post of director, but the board of directors of the bank may take him in the same way as there is room for him to be appointed to the post only after some time.
According to Citizen Bank sources, he has resigned from the board of directors. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Laxmi Bank Limited. He was released after completing a four-year term. He has 33 years of experience with Khaling Laxmi Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.
