Kathmandu. With three months left in the term, Civil Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Govinda Gurung has resigned. According to bank sources, the board of directors of the bank will approve the resignation within a few days.
According to a source, Gurung, who was appointed for four years, resigned as he got an opportunity to work in a foreign bank. According to sources, he has also said that he will become the chief executive officer of a bank in Myanmar. Gurung worked in Himalayan, Global and Mega Bank in Nepal and became the Chief Executive Officer of Civil Bank.
