Kathmandu. Rastriya Sahakari Bank has stated that it will pay more than 15 percent dividend to its shareholders. The bank, which paid a 15 percent dividend last year, has said it will pay a dividend this year without reducing it by 15 percent.

The bank's chairman K.B. Upreti said. Looking at the financial statements up to mid-April, the bank has Rs 60 billion in deposits and Rs 33 billion in loans. The bank's paid-up capital is Rs 3 billion.

During the Corona epidemic last year, the bank exempted its shareholders from interest on loans as directed by the National Bank. Now that the second wave of Corona has started, the necessary decision will be taken at the board meeting, said Chairman Upreti.
