Kathmandu. Nepal Bank Limited is going to issue 8.50 percent annual interest rate bonds to the public from April 7. The bank is about to sell 8.50 percent Nepal Bank Debentures-2087.
The bank is about to sell 3.5 million bonds with a face value of Rs 1,000 to Rs 3.5 billion. Out of the total number of bonds, 1.4 million will be sold to the public and the remaining 2.1 million will be sold individually to various organizations.
Of the bonds to be issued to the public, 15,000 shares at the rate of 5 percent have been distributed to collective investment funds, while the remaining 1.385 million shares are about to be issued for public issuance.
Applications for the purchase of the bonds can be submitted as early as April 10. If the application is not received as per the demand within that period, the late period will be in public eviction till May 16.
Investors will be able to apply for a minimum of 25 lots and a maximum of 300,000 lots to purchase this bond.
