NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) has released its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter of the current financial year. As per the details, the bank has managed to earn a net profit of over Rs 3 billion during the period.
The bank has earned a net profit of Rs 3.48 billion as of mid-April of the current fiscal year. Which is 20.07 percent more than the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The increase in net interest income and operating profit has led to an increase in the bank's net profit.
The bank's net interest income has increased by 19.23 percent during the review period. The bank's net fee and commission income declined by 30.94 percent during the review period. The bank's operating profit increased by 21.97 percent during the review period.
The bank's distributable profit has reached Rs 1.22 billion.
Along with the increase in net profit, the bank's earnings per share has also increased modestly. Such income of the bank has increased by 19 paise to Rs. 34.87 paise during the review period. As of mid-April, the bank's price-to-earnings ratio stood at 27.82 times.
