Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) has released its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter of the current fiscal year. As per the details, the bank has earned more than Rs 2 billion net profit during the period.

As of mid-April of the current fiscal year, the bank has earned a net profit of Rs 2.10 billion. Which is 44.08 percent more than the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Although the net interest income increased modestly, the increase in fees and commission income and other operating income increased the net profit of the bank.

The bank's net interest income increased by 6.60 percent during the review period. Similarly, net fee and commission revenue has increased by 42.07 percent this year while operating profit has increased by 46.85 percent. The bank's distributable profit has reached Rs 1.59 billion in the same period.

Along with net profit, the bank's earnings per share has also increased. The bank's earnings per share increased by Rs 4.90 to Rs 24.79 during the review period. As of mid-April, the bank's price-to-earnings ratio stood at 18.76 times and its net worth per share stood at Rs 152.86.
