Kathmandu. The Asian Development Bank estimates that Nepal's economic growth will reach 3.1 percent in 2021 and 5.1 percent next year. The bank has made such estimates public while publishing Asian Development Outlook 2021.
The report, published on the eve of the second wave of corona in Nepal, predicts that the economy, which grew negatively in the last fiscal year, will expand slowly this year. It may be recalled that in the previous fiscal year, Nepal's economy was negative at 1.9 percent.
The ADB also estimates that Nepal's inflation rate will be 5 percent in 2021 and 6 percent in 2022.
Similarly, GDP growth is projected at 1.7 percent this year and 3.8 percent next year, the report said.
