Lockdown to be Strict, Banks and financial institutions to work only with one-fourth of the staff

The rate of corona infection has been increasing at a high rate in Nepal for the past few days. Government hospitals are full of cowardly patients. Even in private hospitals, ICUs and ventilators are not empty. More than 3,000 corona infections have started in Kathmandu Valley daily. Seeing this, Corona seems to be taking a violent look.

The government has issued a restraining order in nine districts, including the Kathmandu Valley, since April 29, but the congestion has not decreased while operating essential offices. Banks and financial institutions are all open. The crowd is increasing even more as the employees are coming and going to the office.

The Covid 19 Crisis Management Operations Center (CCMC) has taken this matter seriously and the committee meeting on Friday directed to tighten the ban.

The committee has also issued strict instructions to make the banks and financial institutions provide services with only one-fourth of the staff.

The decision was taken saying that the second wave of corona infection has intensified and efforts to control the operation of banks and financial institutions with all available staff have been ineffective.

At the same time, banks and financial institutions will have to keep only one-fourth of their employees in office.

The government will take action against the company that does not follow the instructions.
