Kathmandu. The share market has set a new record on Sunday. Shares worth more than Rs 13 billion were bought and sold on Monday. This is the largest single day trading in the history of the Nepali stock market.
Nepse had a turnover of Rs 13.17 billion. This turnover is still high. Earlier, Nepse had set a new record with a turnover of Rs 11.95 billion on Wednesday.
Nepse has increased by 3.5 points and reached 2,823.05 points. According to Nepse, the share prices of six companies have risen today. Barun Hydropower Company, United Idi Mardi Hydropower, Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited, Green Development Bank, Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company and Hydro Electricity Investment and Development Company are among the companies that are witnessing high rise in share price today.
Similarly, investors in Excel Development Bank, Goodwill Finance and Central Finance Company have lost the most while Electricity Investment and Development Company has witnessed the highest turnover today.
