In the press briefing of the ministry on Sunday, Dr. Archana Shrestha had informed that the number of infected people has decreased by 5.7 percent this week as compared to the previous week.

Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 7,425 people in Nepal on Monday. Last week, the number of infected people had increased by an average of 9,000.

Similarly, Kaski, Gorkha, Nawalparasi (East), Tanahu, Myagdi and Syangja in Gandaki, Dang, Banke, Bardia, Rupandehi, Palpa, Arghakhanchi, Kapilvastu, Gulmi and Nawalparasi (West) in Lumbini and Salyan in Karnali. More than 500 people have been actively infected in Dailekh, Salyan and Surkhet and in the far western states of Kailali, Dhadeldhura, Kanchanpur, Baitadi, Doti and Achham.
