Kathmandu, In the budget of the Fiscal Year 2078/79, it has been included that short-term and long-term investors will get separate capital gains.
According to the budget, investors who buy and sell shares in less than a year will now get 7.5% capital gain. This means that if an investor buys a stock and sells it within a year, the investor will be in the right of a capital gain of 7.5%.
Investors who hold and sell shares for more than a year will get 5% capital gain as per the previous arrangement.
