Kathmandu. Nabil Bank and Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank (NCC) are to be merged. According to NCC Bank senior sources, NCC has made final preparations to merge with Nabil. According to sources, it has been agreed to maintain 35 shares of Nabil equal to 100 shares of NCC for the merger. Sources claim that if the merger takes place as per the agreement, those who have 100 shares of NCC will get only 35 shares of Nabil.

The NCC had earlier held discussions at various levels to merge with Nepal Bangladesh Bank. For that, it was agreed to maintain 80 shares of NB Bank equal to 100 shares of NCC, but that discussion was limited to discussions. Sources said that no decision has been taken about the merger with NB.
