Kathmandu. The non-performing loan ratio of banks and financial institutions has decreased. According to the Ministry of Finance, the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of banks and financial sector stood at 1.50 percent by mid-April.
The ratio of such loans was 1.81 percent. Similarly, the ratio of credit to poor sectors has increased. The credit ratio of the poor was 8.25 percent by April, while it was 6.85 percent by April.
