The life insurance company collected more than Rs 100 crore in 11 months, the highest of Nepal Life

Kathmandu. In the first 11 months of the current fiscal year, life insurance companies have collected more than Rs 100 billion in insurance premiums.

The 19 life insurance companies in operation have collected the insurance fee by insuring the first, renewal and foreign employment.

According to the data available with the Insurance Committee, from mid-July last year to mid-June this year, the companies paid the first insurance fee of Rs 35.19 billion, Rs 66.58 billion in renewal insurance fee and Rs 570 million in foreign employment and collected Rs 102.34 billion in insurance premiums.

Of the 19 insurance companies in operation, two have earned more than Rs 10 billion, four Rs 5 billion to Rs 10 billion, 12 Rs 1 billion to Rs 5 billion and one less than Rs 1 billion. During the same period, Nepal Life earned Rs 27.57 billion and Mahalakshmi Life Insurance earned Rs 760 million.

Similarly, Life Insurance Corporation has collected Rs 14.69 billion and National Life has collected Rs 9.57 billion in the second and third list respectively.

Similarly, Rastriya Bima Sansthan has collected Rs 7.26 billion, Union Life Rs 5.70 billion, Asian Life Rs 5.4 billion and Met Life Rs 4.55 billion in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year.

During the same period, Surya Life collected Rs 3.61 billion, Prime Life Rs 3.35 billion, Gunras Life Rs 3.17 billion and Citizen Life Rs 2.87 billion.

Similarly, Reliable Nepal Life has contributed Rs 2.64 billion, Jyoti Life Rs 2.61 billion, Reliance Life Rs 2.13 billion, IME Life Rs 2.9 billion, Sun Nepal Life Rs 1.86 billion and Sanima Life Rs. 1.66 billion, Prabhu Life Rs. 1.21 billion and Mahalakshmi Life Rs. 760 million.
