Kathmandu. The refinancing limit has been increased from Rs 200 million to Rs 500 million. Nepal Rastra Bank has made such arrangement by amending the refinancing procedure. It is mentioned in the amended working procedure that only the refinancing procedure brought from the source of NRB has been amended.

For the prevention and control of Kovid-19 epidemic, the provision related to procurement and refinancing of health equipment including oxygen plant has been amended. Similarly, hydropower projects with a capacity of less than 10 MW will get refinancing up to Rs. 200 million.

The central bank has provided micro, home and small enterprise refinancing up to Rs 1.5 million and special and general refinancing up to Rs 50 million per customer. The loan is given in one lump sum to the licensed institutions of class A, B and C.
