Kathmandu. Police have arrested Shishir Shamsher Jabra, 50, of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-, Kupandol.

Patan, who was sentenced to 10 days imprisonment and fined Rs 4.5 million by the Patan High Court on December 10, 2077, has been arrested from Kathmandu Bijulibazar by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The court had imposed the imprisonment and fine on Jabra for deducting a check of Rs 4.5 million from the account in his own name at Navil Bank on the pretext that he did not have sufficient balance.

He was produced before the district court in Lalitpur for execution of the verdict, the bureau said.
