Why Employees of Himalayan Bank are dissatisfied with the Management ?

Employees of Himalayan Bank are dissatisfied with the reduction and promotion of service facilities and Go to the Department of Labor for necessary action

Kathmandu. Employees of Himalayan Bank are dissatisfied. According to Article 34 (3) of the existing Labor Act of Nepal 2074 BS, the employees of the bank are dissatisfied as the service facilities provided to them have been reduced and promoted. They have alleged that the Himalayan Bank has made extensive cuts in the services provided to the employees despite the provision of the Labor Act not to reduce the services.

In the past, the Himalayan Bank was giving an additional 25 percent increase in salaries and allowances to the employees transferred outside Kathmandu. It even encouraged them to go out. This facility has been provided since the establishment of the bank, said the victim employees.

However, they allege that the management has cut off the services provided by many employees without any discussion with the employees' union. He informed that the unilaterally enforced rules have reduced the services provided to all the employees and a petition has been filed by the Labor Department to take necessary action in this regard.

Bank (NRB) directive, the bank was supposed to bear the entire expenses of the employees involved in Kovid-19, but so far not a single employee has been fully or even partially paid.

When he became the branch manager or the head of the department, he got a chance to keep the key of the bank and thus he was given an allowance for taking more responsibility. Such allowances have been given since the establishment of the bank.

In this way, five members of the same committee were promoted and rewarded for succeeding in doing a job that would only benefit the general staff and the bank. In this way, the current employees are not allowed to be promoted ahead of time.

Samir Archay, head of the bank's human resources department, said some employees may not be satisfied with the information, but said the bank has encouraged competent employees when determining promotions or service facilities.
