Kathmandu. Banks and financial institutions have started distributing bonuses to employees. The banks have distributed bonuses ranging from one month to five months to the employees in July based on the estimated profit of the last fiscal year. Based on the estimated profit, 9 commercial banks have already sent the bonus to the employee's account, while 8 commercial banks and 2 development banks are preparing to send the bonus within August.
Banks and financial institutions have started distributing bonuses after the NRB made a policy arrangement to distribute bonuses from the last fiscal year's profit. Nabil Bank, Siddhartha Bank, Nepal Investment Bank, Nepal Bangladesh Bank, Mega Bank, Prabhu Bank, Kumari Bank and NMB Bank have already sent bonuses to the employees' accounts on July 20.
Among the banks preparing to send bonuses within July are Global IME Bank, Laxmi Bank, Sanima Bank, NCC Bank, NIC Asia Bank, Himalayan Bank, Bank of Kathmandu and Nepal SBI Bank.
Nabil Bank has already sent a bonus equal to five months' salary to the employee's account on July 20. Siddhartha Bank, Nepal Investment Bank, Nepal Bangladesh Bank and Mega Bank have sent the employees to the bonus account equal to 3 months on July 20. In addition, Prabhu Bank and Kumari Bank have also sent a bonus account equal to two months' salary to the employees on July 20. NMB Bank and Sanima Bank have deposited money in the account of the employees on July 20 as advance bonus.
Similarly, Himalayan Bank, Global IME Bank, Nepal SBI Bank and Bank of Kathmandu are preparing to give a bonus equal to three months' salary within the month of July from last year's estimated profit. In addition, Machhapuchhre, NIC Asia Bank is preparing to send a bonus equal to one month's salary to the account within the second week of July. Similarly, Muktinath Development Bank and Kamana Seva Development Bank are also preparing to send their employees to bonus accounts in July.
