Kathmandu: Arun Kabeli Power's profit has improved significantly in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. The company has increased its profit by 168.38% to Rs. 289.7 million. Last year, the company had earned a profit of Rs 107.9 million. The increase in revenue from the sale of electricity has helped to further expand the company's profit.

 The company, which earned Rs 407.2 million from electricity sales last year, has increased it to Rs 706.7 million in the quarter. As of mid-July, the company's paid-up capital is Rs 1.5 billion. The reserve fund has Rs. 292.2 million. Earnings per share stood at Rs 18.28 and net worth per share at Rs 118.43 during the period.
