Kathmandu: Listed companies have started publishing their financial statements up to the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. The 10 listed microfinance companies have made public their financial statements up to the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year.

According to the public financial statements, most of the companies have shown attractive growth in key indicators including net profit, interest income and earnings per share.

6. The paid up capital of microfinance companies has increased. The biggest increase in paid-up capital is Mirmire microfinance. Its paid up capital has increased by 108.50% to reach Rs. 435.07 million.

Due to mergers and acquisitions with various microfinance institutions, the paid up capital of Mirmire has increased significantly during this period. The highest paid-up capital is Deproc Microfinance. Its paid up capital has increased by 15% to Rs. 1.15 billion 62.48 million. 4. The capital of microfinance has remained the same as last year.

The reserve fund of all 10 microfinance companies has increased. Sadhana Microfinance is the biggest reserve fund. Its reserve fund has increased by 594.37% and reached Rs. 134.33 million. The largest reserve fund is RMDC Microfinance. Its reserve fund is Rs. 1.74 billion 81.30 million. This is 14.96% more than the previous year. 9 The company's own interest income has increased. Mirmire Microfinance Company has been the biggest contributor to the increase in net interest income. Its net interest income has increased by 129.19% and reached Rs. 443.21 million.

Deproc Microfinance has been earning the most net interest income during this period. Its net interest income has increased by 42.78% and reached Rs. 1.37 billion. Net interest income of RMDC microfinance has declined during this period

Diprox Microfinance is the biggest earner. During this period, the profit of Diprox has increased by 159.54% and reached Rs. 713.729 million. Meanwhile, the biggest gainer is Mirmire Microfinance. Mirmire's profit has increased by 481.90% and reached Rs. 201.33 million. RMDC Microfinance's net profit declined by 18.68%.

Earnings per share of 8 out of 10 microfinance companies have increased. The biggest gainer per share is microfinance. Its earnings per share has increased by Rs 37 to Rs 55.49. The highest earnings per share of Diprox Microfinance is Rs 61.73. Earnings per share of First Microfinance and RMDC Microfinance declined.
