Kathmandu. Monetary policy, which has been in limbo for a long time, is scheduled to be made public on Friday.

From regular banking activities to budget implementation, many issues have been confused due to monetary policy. Even a month after the start of the new fiscal year, there are complaints from all sides that there is a problem in implementing various economic policies and rules due to non-issuance of monetary policy.

Earlier, it was said that monetary policy would be issued every weekend and that an unofficial date had been set for it. From the governor to all the top level employees of NRB, they had started expressing dissatisfaction in various ways over the delay in issuing monetary policy. On the other hand, the NRB had been revising the monetary policy through review on the basis of the budget replacement bill to be submitted by the Ministry of Finance as various long-term impact problems have arisen due to non-issuance of monetary policy.

Banks and the financial sector and the business community have also expressed happiness that the economy can be revived in a new way after the monetary policy is made public.
