Kathmandu. Insurance companies have sold 2.74 billion insurance policies in the first month of the current fiscal year. The insurance sector details made public by the Insurance Committee show that 2.74 billion insurance policies were sold in the first month of the current fiscal year.
According to the committee, non-life insurance companies have collected Rs 13.78 billion for the renewal of insurance policies in the first one month of the current fiscal year 2077/07. Similarly, life insurance companies have collected Rs 16.61 billion in insurance premiums.
According to the Insurance Committee, Nepal Life Insurance Company is the company that earns the most insurance premiums among life insurance companies. The company has managed to earn Rs 4.76 billion in insurance premiums so far.
Similarly, Rastriya Bima Sansthan is in the second place. The company has earned Rs 3.73 billion in insurance premiums. The third is National Life Insurance Company. The company has managed to earn Rs 1.33 billion in premiums so far.
Similarly, Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) has earned Rs 1 billion in insurance premiums so far. According to the committee, Union Life has earned Rs 760 million, Asian Life Rs 630 million, Surya Life Rs 520 million, Met Life Rs 490 million and Citizen Life Rs 450 million.

Rs 280 million, Sanima Life Rs 140 million and Mahalakshmi Life Rs 120 million have been collected.
