Vitamin A treatment will be effective Who have lost their ability to sniff due to Covid-19

Kathmandu, Researchers in the UK have found that vitamin A in the nose may be slightly more effective in treating cod patients with loss of sense of smell.

The University of East Anglia is conducting a 12-week test on the subject. Some volunteer patients will receive this treatment and will be asked to smell the strong smell of rotten eggs and roses.

And by looking at the response of the brain, it will be found out whether vitamin A has cured the olfactory intoxication or not. One of the symptoms of covid is loss of sense of smell or not being able to smell properly, but this symptom is also seen in colds.

Although in most cases the symptoms go away in a few weeks, some covid patients suffer from olfactory problems for a long time. Lena Alnadi, a 29-year-old from London, had a paroxysm after covid.

"We also look at the brain's ability to detect odors." Vitamin A normally helps our immune system, vision and some parts of the body, including the nose.

Vitamin A is found in many dairy products and some vegetables. But too much vitamin A can have a detrimental effect.
