Kathmandu: The deposit mobilization of commercial banks has increased by Rs 38 billion in one week. According to the Bankers' Association, deposit collection has increased by Rs 38 billion to Rs 42.18 trillion in a one-week period (September 8 to 15). On September 26, the banks had a total deposit of Rs 4.18 trillion.

Meanwhile, credit investment of commercial banks has also increased by Rs 39 billion in one week. Credit investment has reached Rs. Since the second week of August, both the deposit mobilization and credit investment of commercial banks have been steadily increasing.
