Gore with 6 people have been life imprisonment for smuggling 33 kg of gold

Kathmandu. Six persons involved in the murder of Sanam Shakya in a 33 kg gold smuggling case have been sentenced to life imprisonment. The district court in Morang has sentenced Chudamani Upreti, the main accused in the gold smuggling and Sanam murder case, to life imprisonment.

A single bench of District Judge Bharat Lamsal has sentenced six persons to life imprisonment. According to court judge Tikendra Birjung Rana, Gore, Mohan Kafle, Tekraj Malla, Lakpa Sherpa, Narendra Karki and Bhojraj Bhandari have been sentenced to life imprisonment.

Similarly, Rajan Kumar has been sentenced to three years imprisonment and Madan Prasad Ghimire to six months imprisonment.
