Kathmandu. On the occasion of its 17th anniversary, Sangrila Development Bank has conducted financial literacy program from all 98 branch offices of the bank across the country.

The program was organized by various branch offices with the objective of imparting financial literacy to various people belonging to different schools, colleges and community organizations of the country. The bank has stated that they have been taught to teach the importance of savings, to provide public awareness message about banking transactions and to do banking transactions through electronic means.

The program has been organized with the objective of creating public awareness about banking services including spreading the message of conducting financial transactions through the banking system, especially targeting the students and the community who have not been able to avail banking facilities. Today, about 6,500 from all 98 branch offices across the country. People had participated in the program.
