Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank is going to print Asarfi from this time. Preparations for the printing of Asarfi, which has been suspended for two years, are almost complete. The department will print 2.5 grams, 5 grams and 10 grams of gold asarfi.
The department had also done a demo to print Asarfi. After the success of the test, NRB has decided to move ahead with the work to make it available for sale to the public during this festival.
There is a tradition of buying gold and silver items and keeping them at home on the day of Lakshmi Puja and Dhanteras. The NRB has informed that the machines have been installed in Babarmahala and besides gold, printing of silver and other coins will also start soon.
