Kathmandu. Nabil Bank has been honored with a special award under the "SME Financier of the Year - Asia" at the Global SME Finance Award-2021. Nabil Bank has been awarded the Global SME Finance Award, organized by the World Bank Member International Financial Institution (IFC) and the SME Finance Forum and approved by the Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI).

IFC and SME Finance Forum have honored Nabil Bank by recognizing the progress it has made in the SME sector in the last financial year.

SMEs are the backbone of the economy. At a time when the national economy is being affected by the Kovid-19 epidemic, Nabil Bank has strategically focused on the upliftment of the SME sector. For this, it has been actively providing loans to the SME sector in a simple, easy and efficient manner through the latest policies and procedures.

Anil Keshari Shah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nabil Bank, said that Nabil Bank was working with priority to provide financial access to the MME sector which was facing difficulties due to COVID-19.
