Kumari Bank pass the 6 percent bonus share from 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Kathmandu. The 21st Annual General Meeting of Kumari Bank Limited has been concluded. It was held at the Naxal office in Naxal under the chairmanship of Amir Pratap Jabra.

The general meeting has discussed and passed the annual report including the auditor's report, financial statements for the fiscal year 2077-78, balance sheet, profit and loss account and cash flow statement for the same period, profit and loss distribution account, change in capital.

The General Assembly has passed a resolution to distribute a cash dividend of 2.67 percent to the shareholders for the fiscal year 2077/78, including 6 percent bonus shares and for tax purposes on the bonus shares. After the issuance of the bonus shares, the paid up capital of the bank will be 14.71 billion 1183 thousand 326.

By mid-August of FY 2077/78, the bank has managed to earn operating profit of Rs. 3.19 billion and net profit of Rs. 1.97 billion by mobilizing total deposits of Rs. 157.17 billion and total loans of Rs. 143.77 billion. The Bank has been providing its services across the country through 196 branch network, 175 ATMs, 14 extension counters and 33 branchless banking units inside and outside the Kathmandu Valley.
