Kathmandu. An agreement has been signed between Himalayan Bank Limited and Nepal Clearing House Limited. An agreement has been reached to provide state-of-the-art digital payment services to the customers by operating NEPALPAY QR in the first phase by joining the National Payment Switch brought into operation by Nepal Clearing House Limited after receiving approval from Nepal Rastra Bank.

As Himalayan Bank is the first bank to sign the agreement, the bank believes that this facility brought by National Payment Switch will facilitate the payment system and complete various banking transactions.

Customers will be able to make digital payments through QR of goods and services purchased easily and simply from all the merchants who have NEPALPAY QR available. In addition, the bank will gradually provide other services provided by Nepal Clearing House through National Payment Switch.
