Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, 3,075 people have been infected with covid in Nepal. According to the Ministry of Health, PCR and antigen tests were performed on 13,036 people and 13,075 people tested positive.
Similarly, 278 people have been infected in 24 hours while 1128 people have been infected in Kathmandu district alone. In the last 24 hours, two people have died due to covid infection. Sangeeta Mishra has given the information.
Kathmandu Valley has become the hotspot of the third wave of epidemic. While 3,075 infected people were added on the same day across the country, 1,498 infected people have been added in Kathmandu Valley alone.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1128 cases have been reported in Kathmandu, 134 in Bhaktapur and 236 in Lalitpur. According to the ministry, the number of infected people has increased to more than 11,000 today. Two more infected people have died in the last 24 hours.
