Kathmandu, Subash Bhandari has been elected as the chairman of the Himalayan Bank Employees Union from the 2078 election. A new 11-member working committee including Bhandari has been formed in the organization. The online election of the employees' union was held on the 22nd Poush 2078 this month. The newly elected working committee has Subash Bhandari as chairman, Suman Kumar Mishra as vice-chairman, Bharatraj Upreti as general secretary, Chhand Man Tamang as secretary, Archana Bhandari as treasurer, Akil Shrestha, Sharad Ranjitkar, Vishal Gautam, Madhusudan Tandukar, Bedanidhi Pokhrel and Ramesh Gajurel as members.

The Election Committee 2078 has also administered oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected office bearers and members of the organization. The election committee organized the oath and congratulatory program and administered the oath at the central office of Himalayan Bank on 12th Jan 2022. The oath of office and secrecy was administered by Chief Election Commissioner Prakash Bhandari. Bhandari also distributed certificates to the newly elected office bearers and members of the organization. Chief Executive Officer of the Bank Ashok Shamsher Rana, General Manager Anup Maskey, Assistant Managers Bipin Hada, Sunil Gorkhali, Manager of Human Resources Department Samir Acharya, IT Head Bigyan Sinjapati and current Chairman of the Employees Union Gautam Bhandari were present on the occasion. The program was facilitated by Election Committee members Sanjeev Shrestha and Sanchita Pandey. 

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Election Committee Prakash Bhandari  thanked to the bank management, IT Team and all voters  for making the online election a success.
