Kathmandu. The process of opening 'Bankers Hospital' for the employees of the bank has reached the stage of implementation. It is understood that the bank hospital is nearing the stage of implementation as soon as the Nepal Rastra Bank has prepared a draft to spend 60 percent of the institutional social responsibility fund.
Last April, Nepal Financial Institution Employees Union had demanded to open Bankers Hospital for Nepal Bank and financial employees.
The union should immediately start the work of establishing Bankers Hospital with the participation of all banks and financial institutions to provide safe and accessible, comfortable health care to the employees of army, police and civil service and their dependents. Was demanded.
The union demanded that the remaining amount be spent on corporate social responsibility in various banks and financial institutions, a certain percentage of the funds in various welfare funds of the institutions and a certain percentage deducted from the monthly salaries of the employees and grant amount from the Government of Nepal.
At present, Nepal Rastra Bank is about to complete the matter through the draft. Nepal Rastra Bank will have to make arrangements to spend at least 60 percent of the amount deposited in the fund from the profit within the current fiscal year as soon as the financial statements of each fiscal year are approved. If 40 percent of the amount is not spent due to some reason, it will have to be spent in the next financial year.
