Kathmandu. Deposit collection of commercial banks has improved. Deposits of commercial banks have increased by Rs 11 billion in a year. According to the Nepal Bankers Association, the deposits of commercial banks have increased by Rs. 11 billion in the period from March 29 to March 30.

As of Friday, March 9, there was a deposit of Rs 4.313 trillion in commercial banks. The deposit collection has increased to Rs. 43.24 trillion in commercial banks by March 6.

Credit flow also seems to have increased during this period. Commercial banks have disbursed Rs 5 billion in one week. According to the association, commercial banks had disbursed Rs 41.65 trillion in loans till March 27. The credit flow has increased to Rs 4.17 trillion by March 30.
