Ban Mobiles and Motorcycles Including  10 Types of goods Import in Nepal

Kathmandu. The government has banned the import of 10 types of goods into Nepal.

According to the details published in the Nepal Gazette by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, the import of luxury consumer goods has been banned in Nepal.

The ministry told diplomats that the ban would not apply. Similarly, the ban will not be applicable to those who have completed the banking process before 26th April.

The goods that have been banned for import till mid-July are as follows:


1. Crunchy, crunchy, tail and similar products


2. All kinds of prepared wine


3. Cigarettes and tobacco products (raw materials are exempt)


4. Diamonds (exemption for import of industrial raw materials)


5. Mobile set


6. Color television (over 32 inches)


7. Jeeps, cars and vans (available for ambulance and hearse)


8. Motorcycles with a capacity of more than 250 cc


9. All kinds of toys
