Kathmandu. In the last one week, the deposit collection of commercial banks has improved. Deposits in commercial banks have increased by Rs 7 billion in a week. According to the Nepal Bankers' Association, deposits in commercial banks have increased by Rs 7 billion in the period from April 12 to May 20.
There was a deposit of Rs. 43.77 trillion in commercial banks this month. The deposit had dropped by Rs 10 billion to Rs 4.367 trillion by April 25. Similarly, deposits had increased by Rs 1 billion in the period from April 26 to April 30.

As of April 12, the commercial banks had disbursed Rs. 41.91 trillion in loans. The credit flow has increased to Rs. 41.94 trillion by May 20.
