Kathmandu. The number of blacklisted cooperatives is also increasing along with the complaints of cheating from savers. According to the Credit Information Center, 17 cooperatives have been blacklisted in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year. According to the Credit Information Center, three multi-purpose cooperatives, two agricultural cooperatives and other savings and credit cooperatives have been blacklisted in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year.

The blacklisted multi-purpose cooperatives include Kiranodaya Multipurpose Cooperative, Dhanvrdhi Multipurpose Co-operative and Youth Development Multipurpose Cooperative. Narendra Prakash Subedi is one of the directors of Kiranodaya Multipurpose Cooperative Society. Similarly, Arvind Bisht, Diwakar Rijal and Ms. Indira Bisht are the directors of Dhanvrdhi Multipurpose Co-operative. Similarly, Home Bahadur Thapa Chhetri, Kisan Rai and Sangam Rai are the directors of the Youth Development Multipurpose Cooperative Society.

Similarly, the blacklisted agricultural cooperatives include Janasewa Agricultural Cooperative and Sahyatri Agricultural Cooperative. Among the blacklisted operators are Vimala Rai, Mukunda Prasad Adhikari, Narayan Bishwakarma, Rajendra Karki, Raju Shrestha and Tilak Bahadur Yasmali Thapa. The directors of Janasewa Krishi Sahakari are Bhajan Rana, Bhimaya Tamang, Dhanmaya Tamang, Dil Bahadur Tamang, Hinimaya Tamang, Shantimaya Tamang and Tekmaya Tamang.

According to the center, the blacklisted savings and loan cooperatives have Smriti Saving and Co-operative, which is run by Devendra Shrestha. Similarly, Sarfi Saving and Co-operative has also been blacklisted. The directors of the cooperative are Indravati Shrestha, Raj Kumar Shrestha and Tek Prasad Acharya.

Other blacklisted cooperatives include Rara Savings and Loan Cooperative. The directors of the cooperative are Binod Kumar Agrawal, Kumar Magar and Sher Bahadur Thapa Magar. Another blacklisted cooperative is Anandnagar Savings and Loan Cooperative. Its directors are Loknath Sapkota, Narayani KC and Narendra Bahadur Karki.

According to the Center, the operators of the blacklisted Prime Gorkha Saving and Co-operative are Dillisher Rai, Madhu Gurung and Sanjay Rai. Similarly, Kanti Saving and Co-operative Society has also been blacklisted. The directors of the cooperative are Asalman Tamang, Hiraman Tamang and Nanda Bahadur Thakali.

Dhanalakshmi Cooperative Society is also among the blacklisted cooperatives. Manoj Giri and Savita Srivastava are the directors of the cooperative. The center has also blacklisted Haleshwor Savings and Credit Cooperative. Its operators are Bajra Singh Lama and Mohan Singh Lama.

According to the center, Maa Ambe Savings and Loan Cooperative has also been blacklisted. The directors of this organization are Bijay Kumar Chhinal and Nirmal Kumar Sinjali. Similarly, the blacklisted cooperatives include The Next Savings and Loan Cooperative, which is run by Bhishma Prasad Bhandari, Pavitra Damai and Shanti Tiwari.

Similarly, the Center has also blacklisted Sireto Savings and Loan Cooperatives and Chetna Savings and Loan Cooperatives. Rina Acharya, Sirjana Rijal and Sushila Luitel are the directors of Sireto Savings and Loan Cooperative.

According to the Center, Chetna Cooperative Society has also been blacklisted. The operators of the cooperative are Asheshwar Yadav, Vijay Kumar Sah Haluwai, Mohan Bahadur Baral, Nirmala Devi Thakur, Rani Devi Thakur, Shivaji Haluwai and Shubh Narayan Gohiwar Yadav.
