The Social Security Fund will provide loans up to 75 lakhs at low interest rates

Kathmandu. Now the investors of social security fund will get loans from the fund. With the approval of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, the way to get a loan has been opened.

It is said that the guidelines have been prepared and approved in accordance with clause (t) of sub-section (1) of section 32 of the contribution-based social security act 2074 and the social security fund investment procedure 2077 approved by the Government of Nepal.

Now the contributors of the fund will get loans under the Contributor Ghar Sapti Yojana. Contributors will get funds for building a new house, buying a house, adding a floor to their own house and repairing it.

Contributors will get a loan of up to 75 lakh rupees on the basis of collateral. However, certain criteria have been determined to get funds from the fund. The interest of such a loan will be cheaper. Contributors who have contributed to the fund for at least 36 months, and who have at least two years left to retire based on age and service, will be eligible for compensation.

It is mentioned in the guidelines that the scholarship can be awarded to the contributor or his/her husband, wife, son, daughter for the purpose of higher education studies in the country or abroad.
