The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued instructions to create a struggle committee against microfinance registered and operated in accordance with the prevailing laws and to punish those who are agitating. The Ministry has ordered the police headquarters to take necessary action saying that an illegal group named 'Laghuwitt Vang Sangharsh Samiti' is trying to sabotage the microfinance program by protesting on August 1st.
The Ministry said that the illegal group called 'Laghuvitt Vang Sangharsh Samiti' has been obstructing the microfinance program, making unbridled propaganda and threatening to close the program. The ministry has submitted a letter through a letter from Nepal Microfinance Bankers Association requesting necessary action regarding the activities of the struggle committee and on the basis of that, it has sent a letter to those who are struggling against microfinance.
