Kathmandu. Seven more branches of NMB Bank will be headed by women. On Monday, the bank organized a program and informed that women's branches will be promoted in seven branches of six provinces.

According to the bank, Shobhita Pant will be the head of the Tanki Sinuwari branch of province number one, Malika Thakur will be the head of the branch at Mahottari of Madhes province, while Prafulla Manandhar will be the head of the branch of NMB Bank at Balkhu of Bagmati province.

Similarly, Khim Kumari Gurung in the fourth branch of Gandaki province, Sita Bhusal as branch chief in Bhalwari branch in Lumbini province and Nand Kumari Bhandari as branch chief in Dhangadhi branch in Sudurpaschim province, the bank said.

Sunil KC, Chief Executive Officer of NMB Bank, informed that since there is no branch of NMB Bank in Karnali Province, the branch will soon be expanded and a female branch head will be placed there as well.
