Kathmandu: Jobs are open for 43 people in Nepal Rastra Bank. Rastra Bank has opened job vacancies for Assistant Director Technical and Administration and Assistant Director. Eligible Nepali citizens can apply online from today (August 17th) to October 16th.

For this purpose, the NRB had set up the Note Department in September 1956 which was renamed as the Currency Management Department in November 2002. Since taking over the responsibility of issuing the currency notes, the NRB has issued notes in denominations of Rs. 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000.

The incorporation of online financial transaction by Nepal Rastra Bank in the legal banking system provides facilities to receive income from abroad in foreign currency that can be converted to Nepalese Rupees within the legal banking perimeter in Nepal.
